Modern Therapy That Is…

Relatable

I want you to feel like you’re sitting across someone who with you, not a buttoned-up know-all with a one-up position. The relationship between us is the healing force at the center of our work, and it’s important to me that you have an experience where you can feel fully seen and supported without judgement.

I aim to create a safe vibe that’s not overly stuffy or clinical, less like a fluorescent doctor’s office or a big-tech, AI fueled telehealth platform and more like a cozy, candle-lit living room under a big knitted blanket where you can truly exhale and let your guard down.

Flexible

Some sessions go deep, healing memories and patterns that we trace all the way back to your childhood so your nervous system can finally store that memory differently.

Other sessions stay present-oriented, like processing a recent conversation with your partner that struck such a nerve and you can’t shake it. Either way, we’re always holding your bigger goals while meeting you exactly where you’re at that day, zooming in and out based on what you need.

Collaborative

I won’t just tell you what you should do and act like I know better about your life than you do. I want you to feel like I’m truly in it with you, tracking what’s happening and reflecting it back so things feel clearer, and you feel less alone.

I’m constantly in trainings and refining my skill set so I can offer techniques and insights that might be helpful for you. But I don’t see myself as someone who knows what’s best for you better than you do. Together we’ll figure out what approach makes sense based on what you want to get out of therapy.

Evidence-Informed

Out with stale, Freudian, aimless couch sessions with no path to self-healing. In with fresh, practical, 21st-century frameworks for understanding how the mind and nervous system actually work and maps to guide healing.

Modern Therapy to heal and secure relationships

My bread and butter is relationships

uncovering The patterns they form, healing the wounds they leave, and guiding them to function in healthier, more secure ways.

My goal is to build a therapeutic bond that makes your life better in ways that extend beyond our sessions. My approach centers on securing your relationship with yourself, with others, and with the world around you.

To support you, I bring the best of my professional knowledge rounded out with a grounded, relational approach. I honor that you are the one who ultimately knows your inner world, the ways the relationships have shaped you, and what you need out of therapy to improve your life.
