Couples Workshops in Naples, FL
A weekend to learn about the science of love
A structured, weekend-long couples workshop based on the Dr. Sue Johnson EFT Hold Me Tight method, designed to help you break the cycle that’s keeping you stuck and build a secure bond.
What are couples workshops?
Over the course of an immersive weekend, you’ll learn about the science of relationships and practical takeaways to apply the concepts to your own. You’ll have time for guided conversations with your partner to implement the tools while you have therapist support in the room.
The program includes to therapists sharing knowledge, watching video, group engagement, and individual application, all designed to help your relationship soak up the material.
This isn’t couples therapy, and it isn’t quite a traditional relationship seminar. It’s a structured experience that gives you the time, space, and guidance to be intentional about healing your relationship.

Group couples retreat in naples, florida
Why an event-based format?
Your relationship rarely gets the same uninterrupted attention that work, family, and everyday responsibilities receive.
A couples workshop creates space to step outside of your usual routine, focus on each other, and reconnect in a deep, fulfilling way.
Instead of reading books or listening to podcasts on your own and trying to apply the lessons later, you have the opportunity to learn, reflect, talk, and practice together. The immersive format allows you to slow down, have conversations you may not normally make time for, and experience new ways of connecting with one another.
You don’t need to wait for a relationship crisis to make this kind of space. Sometimes, the most meaningful investment in your relationship is simply deciding to make it a priority.
In a couples workshop, you learn the science that informs the most effective tools in relationships.

How A Workshop is Different
A couples workshop, couples therapy, and a marriage intensive can all support your relationship, but they offer different experiences.
- Couples therapy is personalized clinical work that focuses on the specific concerns, patterns, and needs of your relationship over time. Sessions typically happen on a recurring basis and are tailored to your unique goals.
- Marriage intensives are also a highly focused experience, often taking place over a full day or weekend. Unlike a workshop, the work is private work between one couple and their own therapist. It can be a good fit for couples who need concentrated therapeutic support around specific relationship concerns.
- Couples workshops bring couples together for a shared educational experience. You’ll learn about relationships, reflect with your partner, and practice new skills through guided exercises and private conversations.
You don’t need to be experiencing significant relationship problems to participate in a workshop. With your partner, you may want to invest in your relationship, deepen your connection, or build skills before challenges arise.
And if you’re already in couples therapy, a workshop can be a meaningful complement to the work you’re doing there.
