Like many specialty providers, I work outside the insurance system, so therapy can stay focused on your goals without being limited by a diagnosis or a set timeline for progress. This allows us to move at a pace that feels right for you, maintain full privacy over your mental health records, and create a flexible, personalized plan for growth.
Many clients choose to submit a Superbill for out-of-network reimbursement to have sessions partially covered or use a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) with pre-tax dollars to fund sessions.

Weekly sessions are offered Monday-Thursday, starting at 10am- 6pm EST.
Appointments are typically 50 minutes long, though I offer 90 minute sessions and intensive blocks upon request.
Many clients start with weekly sessions for 4-8 weeks to build rapport and momentum, then shift to biweekly sessions, which often feels more sustainable. We’ll adjust the frequency together as needed to best support your goals.
The length of therapy depends on what brings you in and what you hope to achieve. Real, sustained change takes time as you process emotions, make sense of your experiences, and strengthen new patterns in your brain and body.
This space is designed to offer support, insight, and strategies to help you navigate challenges and create meaningful change. I use evidence-based approaches to help identify patterns where you get stuck and provide exercises and tools to support growth. A large part of therapy is also building a trusting relationship, which takes time as we get to know each other and your story.
For couples, research suggests significant progress is often made in about 20 sessions, though relationships impacted by infidelity or trauma may benefit from a longer timeframe. For individual clients, the duration varies depending on goals and circumstances.
How often and how long?
If you’re unsure about online therapy, I get it. Meeting with a therapist through a screen can feel unfamiliar at first. While it may feel new, online therapy has been safely and effectively used for years, and research shows it is just as effective as in-person sessions for the concerns I support.
I offer therapy online to make high-quality support more accessible, flexible, and convenient. Many clients prefer virtual sessions because they can stay in their own space, avoid commuting, and more easily fit therapy into their schedule. I do not offer phone-only sessions, but you can join from your personal device for convenience.
If online therapy doesn’t feel right for you, that’s completely okay. I encourage you to seek support in a way that feels safe and comfortable. I’m here to offer an option. You get to decide what’s best for you!
Note that if you are meeting as a couple, you must attend sessions from the same location to support attunement, clarity, and the neuroscience of connection.
Why is therapy online? Does that actually work?
Sessions are collaborative, non-judgmental, and relatable to make getting started easier. In the first session or two, I’ll ask questions to understand your life and experiences while listening without judgment. Together, we’ll set goals for what you hope to accomplish in therapy.
Throughout therapy, you’ll have the chance to express yourself, gain new insights, observe your thoughts, and practice coping skills. If you’re working with a partner, you’ll also practice new ways of communicating.
It helps to come to sessions with an idea of what you’d like to focus on, especially areas where you’ve been feeling stuck. Some sessions may feel challenging, while others feel lighter, but either way, I’ll support you as you work toward the change and growth you’re seeking.
What can I expect sessions to be like?
I work collaboratively with you, helping you figure out what’s best for you and your life rather than telling you what to do. Because you're the expert of your life.
I draw most heavily from EFT, IFS, and EMDR, paying attention to patterns in how you process experiences and notice what may be showing up that formed earlier in your life. Together, we build from the strengths and resources you already have to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.
Please refer to my about page for more about my credentials and full list of modality-specific qualifications.
How do I know if you’re a good fit for me?
What happens next?
If we both decide we’re a good fit after our intro call, we’ll schedule our first therapy session. I’ll send you some forms to complete before the appointment, all electronically.
Prior to the session, I’ll send the Zoom link to your email. Working online is so convenient for clients and especially couples with busy schedules. Easy, flexible, and accessible.
